As much as I love a real Christmas tree, I finally broke down and bough a faux tree this year. (Actually, I broke down last year when I tried to flock my own tree). It’s like $5 more than a real tree (#supplychain) and it will last longer and make less of a mess. Don’t laugh, but I actually struggled with this decision. I literally thought to myself, “am I a bad mother?” for not having a real tree. What? Of all the reasons to ask myself this, I quickly realized opting for a faux tree is not it. Actually, saving myself time and money / avoiding stress around the holidays is always a good idea.
