Nantucket

Just a few miles from our house in Chatham, you can hop on a ferry and visit a magical place… Nantucket! Disclaimer: I haven’t had the pleasure of an extended stay, only day trips. Just a few hours on ACK is enough to get a taste of this quaint, gorgeous New England island.

We take the early ferry and start our morning with coffee. We go during summer weekdays so the town is already open for business by the time we arrive. We generally start the morning with a little shopping and then head to the White Elephant for lunch. After lunch, we walk to the nearby beach and wind around town for more shopping. We end the day with ice cream and hop back on the ferry. Always a great day!

This summer, there is only one store that I plan to visit – Hill House Home! Super excited to finally shop one of my favorite brands IRL. Speaking of which, Nell Diamond, creator of the Nap Dress gave her Nantucket recommendations and they are pretty spot on.

ready to make it Rain{ka}?

I'm an award-winning, expert attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. I represent professional women and their families who are injured or arrested in Florida. I love my job and am proud to have a career, but when I became a mother, I learned that working moms are uniquely tasked with having to achieve "balance." (whatever that is.) What I really wanted was freedom - freedom to practice law in a way that works for me and my family. Through the support and advice of other working moms, I have found success by developing a personal brand that allows me to create my own clients and practice law in a way that gives me freedom. Now it's my turn to help other lawyer moms learn how to do the same and make it Rain(ka).
