As someone who makes money via sharing products, this time of year is *the* time to maximize profits. But it’s just all so ridiculous. Holiday shopping is a ritual in my family. It’s really personal. It’s a whole to-do. It’s going out to the mall, bundled up in cold weather, and finding something special. That’s how I want to shop for Christmas presents. Instead, every retailer incentives people to buy early, often, and online…and influencers/affiliate marketers feel the pressure to start talking about Christmas before all Hallow’s eve. It feels like a rat race. I want to bring back the fun of holiday shopping. Of course, I have curated my holiday gift guides (and they are pretty great), but I won’t be disappointed if you forego my suggestions for the experience of gifting IRL.
P.S. My gift guides are live here.
