Reconsider that Cash Bar

When you think about your wedding, remember your guests are coming to celebrate. If you don’t want to thank them for coming by feeding them and giving them libations either 1) you don’t think they deserve that much, or 2) you don’t think you can afford it.

So why are you inviting those guests? If they aren’t worth it, then don’t invite them. If you can’t afford it don’t invite them….or find a menu that you can afford. I’m not saying that you should splurge for the full open bar. Beer and wine with or without a signature drink is always a great option! Or just a champagne toast.

Our good friends, Brian and Anna paid their wedding with a reasonable budget. They had a Stock the Bar party and were able to get most of the alcohol they needed for the wedding. Teamwork makes the dream work, people!

You want your guests to enjoy your wedding as much as you do! So make you bar options work within the budget, and don’t expect guests to bring cash because, let’s be honest…no one carries cash anymore.

If you don’t believe me, ask David.

ready to make it Rain{ka}?

I'm an award-winning, expert attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. I represent professional women and their families who are injured or arrested in Florida. I love my job and am proud to have a career, but when I became a mother, I learned that working moms are uniquely tasked with having to achieve "balance." (whatever that is.) What I really wanted was freedom - freedom to practice law in a way that works for me and my family. Through the support and advice of other working moms, I have found success by developing a personal brand that allows me to create my own clients and practice law in a way that gives me freedom. Now it's my turn to help other lawyer moms learn how to do the same and make it Rain(ka).
