I’m not going to sugar coat this – as a personal injury attorney, I hear horror stories about injuries to children in vehicles. 1 in 4 accidental deaths in children are related to car crashes and sadly many of those deaths and injuries can be prevented with 1) an appropriate car seat or booster, 2) proper installation and 3) proper use. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has an awesome website where you can enter your child’s height and weight to confirm the proper safety restraints to keep your precious cargo safe. My son is currently in a forward-facing booster and I love the Diono. I’ve linked all my favorite (safest) seats below.
