Fifteen-day-late Resolutions

Did you forget to make resolutions? Me too. #momlife

Luckily, the MLK holiday weekend is the perfect time to do everything that you meant to do in the beginning of January including making those New Year’s Resolutions. Here are mine…

  1. Learn how to wear lipstick.  I feel like I am missing out on an important life skill;
  2. Update my wills and advanced directives;
  3. Brush up on my French (and no, not because this is Meghan Markel’s resolution. I’m going to Paris this year, and am a big believer in learning the native tongue);
  4. Read, like, one book for pleasure;
  5. Go to the gym once a week month;
  6. Go to the playground with my son as often as possible;
  7. Learn Spanish;
  8. Sell some of my art;
  9. See every Academy Award Nominee;
  10. Go on two dates per month with my hubby.

I found a great goal book to record these and all of my current goals.

Happy 2018! May this year bring you much success, health, wealth and happiness.

XOXO, Mrs. Make It Rainka

ready to make it Rain{ka}?

I'm an award-winning, expert attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. I represent professional women and their families who are injured or arrested in Florida. I love my job and am proud to have a career, but when I became a mother, I learned that working moms are uniquely tasked with having to achieve "balance." (whatever that is.) What I really wanted was freedom - freedom to practice law in a way that works for me and my family. Through the support and advice of other working moms, I have found success by developing a personal brand that allows me to create my own clients and practice law in a way that gives me freedom. Now it's my turn to help other lawyer moms learn how to do the same and make it Rain(ka).
