We have a rule in our family – we only do Florida theme parks between November and February. I love theme parks, but I find it difficult to enjoy my favorite parks between April and October because the second I hit the concrete expanse of magic, my skin is hot pink and I am literally melting.  As native Floridians, we are lucky to live so close to parks that we don’t have to go when it’s hot.  But now that we are Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, we have already broken our rule, and I bet we will go again before November.

You just know that any day at a theme park involves photos, so I always make the mistake of looking cute over practicality. But when we were in the park last week, and my adorable cotton Lilly shorts were killing me, I wondered if there could be a nice balance of comfort and style.  I looked around for the most comfortable looking moms that I could find, and there she was – a fabulous looking mother of two, hands-free, a smile on her face.  What was her secret?  Dry-fit, breezy and black. I immediately started searching for a copy-cat outfit, and I think I have succeeded. Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you the scion of style and sweat-free summer days- the perfect summer theme park outfit for all shapes and sizes of moms.
