Last-Minute Halloween

October is my FAVORITE month.

Of course, I love celebrating Libra season, but it finally starts to cool off and feel like Fall. Plus, Halloween kicks off two months of quality time with friends, and family.

I am super lazy when it comes to decorating for Halloween…I don’t allow myself to go full-ghost and ghouls until after my birthday (October 17) and then it’s like “what’s the point?”

But my son absolutely loves Halloween. We already have a jar of candy corn in our foyer (yes, we actually eat it), a few pumpkins and fall flowers on the porch and we added some bats and cob webs for a spooky feel.

We always visit the pumpkin patch the week of Halloween and carve our pumpkin at a fun party we attend at our club the Wednesday before, so I never feel rushed to decorate…except when I went to Target this week, they already had CHRISTMAS out! WHAT!?! Get out of here, Santa. I need my fall decorations!

So for those of you who aren’t quite ready to for the North Pole, I found a few last-minute Halloween decorations that can last until Thanksgiving not to be after Thankgiving.

Happy Fall Y’all!

ready to make it Rain{ka}?

I'm an award-winning, expert attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. I represent professional women and their families who are injured or arrested in Florida. I love my job and am proud to have a career, but when I became a mother, I learned that working moms are uniquely tasked with having to achieve "balance." (whatever that is.) What I really wanted was freedom - freedom to practice law in a way that works for me and my family. Through the support and advice of other working moms, I have found success by developing a personal brand that allows me to create my own clients and practice law in a way that gives me freedom. Now it's my turn to help other lawyer moms learn how to do the same and make it Rain(ka).
