My Amex Platnium saved me this week. I got to Nashville at 5:50 AM (!) and had literally nowhere to go. Included in my Amex membership is one hour free and a lower hourly rate for Minute Suites and access to lounges at every airport. I was able to nap and rest and saved myself $75. The annual fee on the Amex Platnium is steep, but when used strategically – you can break even on the cost and reap lots of rewards. You can get up to $1400+ in benefits for hotels and flights booked through Amex, Uber cash, streaming services, Walmart+, Global Entry / TSA Pre✔️ and much more. Now the cards have art on them and you can get insane points for signing up. Highly recommended for travelers.
