Cape Cod Style

My summer wardrobe the perfect Cape Cod attire. I tend to wear blues, white / cream and neutrals. The cool evenings mean we throw on a knit sweaters over our Lilly shorts. The days can be hot but breezy so a seersucker or poplin dress is always perfect. I’m not joking when I say that when I’m on the Cape, I actually have picnic lunches and sit in the soft grass or on the beach so I bring mostly machine washable fabrics. It gets bright so early here so I wake up early most mornings and throw on some athleisure and walk or put in a bathing suit and head to the beach. In the evenings, I generally wear white jeans and my favorite silk Elsa top with a cashmere wrap. It’s definitely a look and I have always loved it. One brand that I also love is Mahi Gold – they always find preppy summer styles from other brands curated in their stores.
