My first meal in Chatham is always clam chowder. The Squire is my favorite, but Mac’s Seafood is a close second. There are thousands of places, with excellent versions throughout the Cape. If you’re brave, this Bon Appétit recipe is excellent. I always use more clams than I need, emulsify half and then leave the other half in the chowder. 10/10 Highly recommended!
