How I eat healthy, save money, and reduce waste.

I loathe throwing away food. For years now, we have ordered meal delivery kit dinners for about $75 / week and purchased only enough fresh snacks for the week to cut down on throwing food away. For lunch, I order Daily Harvest – frozen smoothies, harvest bowls, and more that help keeps my waste and my waist down. I order 24-26 smoothies at a time for about $175. It’s enough for about a month. The smoothies last at least a year ( but the other products aren’t as fresh after a month). I am a big believer in eating something warm every day, so I also order groceries from Whole Foods / Amazon and get soup or some other warm entree that I can heat up for a hearty meal that keeps me fueled for a full day of work.

ready to make it Rain{ka}?

I'm an award-winning, expert attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. I represent professional women and their families who are injured or arrested in Florida. I love my job and am proud to have a career, but when I became a mother, I learned that working moms are uniquely tasked with having to achieve "balance." (whatever that is.) What I really wanted was freedom - freedom to practice law in a way that works for me and my family. Through the support and advice of other working moms, I have found success by developing a personal brand that allows me to create my own clients and practice law in a way that gives me freedom. Now it's my turn to help other lawyer moms learn how to do the same and make it Rain(ka).
